Management Training

 

Purpose: To provide member firms with an opportunity to improve the quality and effectiveness of their production, office and general supervisors at all levels by offering practical, business-oriented supervisory training and management development courses.

SUMMARY

As a major part of its total package of services to members, RAMAC offers:
 

1) regular off-the-job supervisory training courses; 2) Regularly scheduled workshops; and 3) Special seminars and conferences.

2) The fundamentals of sixteen (16) basic supervisory responsibilities are taught in a series of three(3) courses:

"FUNDAMENTALS OF SUPERVISON I", "FUNDAMENTALS OF SUPERVISION II", "FUNDAMENTALS OF SUPERVISON III"

After studying these sixteen (16) principles in the "Fundamentals" series of courses, participants may continue their education through elective courses which concentrate on teaching "How To" techniques and skills. IT is hoped that all enrollees will be motivated to work toward RAMAC's "Master's Certificate in Management Education."  This certificate is awarded to participants who successfully complete the "Fundamentals" course and any three (3) electives from the following offered courses:

  1. Constructive Discipline
  2. Effective Communications
  3. Training & Development
  4. Employee Relation
  5. Planning

Masters Certificate recipients are eligible to enroll in the Accelerated Associate Degree Program offered in conjunction with Gateway Technical Institute.

3) In addition to the supervisory training, regularly scheduled work shops are held throughout the year as follows:

  1. Safe Operation of Forklift Trucks
  2. Regular First Aid
  3. Refresher First Aid
  4. CPR Training & 18-hour OSHA Compliance Series

In conjunction with Gateway Technical College RAMAC has developed an Accelerated Associate Degree Program specifically designed for our member's employees.  All RAMAC Supervisory Training Programs can be applied for credit towards this degree.
